Who we are
Tabu Ventures (“we”, “us”) is an angel syndicate and investor community. For anything in this policy you can reach us at hello@tabu.ventures. We're the data controller for information you share with us through this site.
What we collect
Only what you give us, and a little about how the site is used:
- Contact details — your name and email when you request the report or investor pack, subscribe to updates, or get in touch.
- Founder submissions — company, category, and the deck or details you share when you pitch us.
- Basic analytics — anonymised, aggregate usage to understand what's read. No advertising trackers.
How we use it
To send you the thing you asked for, to keep you posted with occasional updates (only if you've opted in), and to review founder submissions. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it beyond the tools below.
Where your data lives
- Airtable — our operational database; holds the names, emails, enquiry and founder-submission details you send us through our forms.
- Netlify — hosts the site.
Each processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the site to work, plus privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. We'll respond within 30 days.
